Win $100 and tell me…Should kids have an allowance?

The definition of Bribery:  The offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of something so a MOM can get crap done.

Personally I resort to bribery all the time. Hey I’m a mom, I do what I have to do.  Just last week I swapped a roll of stickers for a beautifully mopped floor. I’ve also gone down the “allowance” route but by the end of the week I’ve spent my kid’s cash at Starbucks and paid them in candy bars.

So here’s the question:

Do you think giving your kids an allowance is a form of bribery? Should your children help out around the house for cash or just because they should help out?

Below is a quick survey of 10 questions regarding giving kids an allowance. Check it out and just for taking part, you’ll be entered to win a random drawing for a $100 Visa Gift Card!

Just remember if you win you have to buy me a cupcake. 🙂 XOXO CAREY

  2. I believe that children should only get an allowance by doing there chores. They need to learn that you get paid for what you do. That way it gets them ready and understand you have to work for pay.
